Board of Directors

TLES Board of Directors is responsible for defining the organization’s mission and for providing overall leadership and strategic direction to the organization. The TLES Board: actively sets long-term policy and ensures that the organization has adequate resources to carry out its mission; Ensures the long -term financial stability of the Center; Hiring and supporting the Executive Director; provides oversight and direction for the Executive Director and is responsible for evaluating the Director’s performance; Conveys information to the public about mission, activities, accomplishments, and decision-making processes; Evaluates its own effectiveness as a governing body, as a group of volunteers, and representatives of the community in upholding the public interest served by the organization.

Our Board of Directors is composed of volunteers from the community who have a vested interest in the success of TLES. We are honored that our members are mostly current LES parents and former parents.
